Mindfulness in Daily Life

In the fast pace of our work and personal lives our attention is easily scattered and our mind cluttered with endless distractions. However, by training in mindfulness we will learn how to stay focused on the thoughts and attitudes that keep us relaxed and happy, even during our busiest days. Training in mindfulness will also improve our meditation practice and our inner peace and wellbeing, thereby enabling us to enjoy our life moment by moment.

Karma - Creating your own Happiness

Lördag 4 februari | 10:00 – 16:00

Buddha’s teachings on karma give us a clear and practical explanation on where our experiences actually come from. We can then use this understanding to take control of our mind and actions and thereby create the happy life we long for. Rather than chasing after happiness, we learn to create it. Rather than running from unhappiness, we learn to abandon its causes. Understanding karma puts us in the driver’s seat of our own life.

Gen Kelsang Dragpa

Gen Kelsang Dragpa is a modern buddhist monk, the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Oslo and the National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition in the Nordic region. He was ordained in 1993 and has taught for many years in different centres in Europe. His teachings are very practical and easy to understand.
